SCALE OF CHARGES
MONDAY – THURSDAY hire costs £12.50 per hour.
FRIDAY – SUNDAY between 09.00 and 23.30 – hire costs £12.50 per hour.
(Non-residents and non-local organisations pay an extra £2 per hour)
DEPOSIT of £100 required for all non-regular bookings. This will be refunded after the event provided the hall is left as found. The full fee is required 14 days before the event. Cheques must be made payable to ‘Mistley Village Hall’.
LOCAL REGULAR USERS must book in advance for a minimum period of 6 months. All such block bookings will be discussed and agreed by the management committee.
WINTER SURCHARGE between 1 October – 1 May there is a surcharge of £1 per hour to cover heating costs.
WEDDINGS AND LARGE PARTIES are charged at a flat rate of £100 between 19.00 and 24.00.
CHILDREN’S PARTIES bookings are for a minimum of 3 hours.
PROFIT-MAKING ACTIVITIES are charged at £20 per hour, for a minimum of 2 hours.
CANCELLATION If you have to cancel a booking more than two weeks before the event the booking fee will be refunded in full. If you give less than two weeks notice, only half (50%) of the fee will be refunded.
